1:00 A Mediterranean Diet for Today Patricia Moore Pastrides, cookbook author and wife of the president of the University of South Carolina Patricia Moore-Pastrides will share with us the delights and benefits of eating a Mediterranean diet. She will bring copies of her cookbooks, which will be available for purchase and signing after her talk. Joy Morris has worked for months to arrange this talk for CCR after hearing Ms. Moore-Pastrides speak. She has recommended her wholeheartedly as a presenter for CCR. Bring yourself and bring a friend.

2:30 If It’s Tuesday, This Must Be Mont-St.-Michel Maxwell Mowry, CCR member and World Traveler Maxwell Mowry will share with us the visual wonders of France. He will recreate a whirlwind tour of France (with slides) that covered the country from south to north in only eight days. How wonderful to have the opportunity to enjoy these visuals on the large, twin screens of the new, North Campus, conference hall! 3800 Paramount Road, North Charleston

If you get onto I-526 in West Ashley you’ll go about 3 miles and exit at #15 Paramount Dorchester Rd- on your right.  You’ll turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Paramount Drive, immediately go under I-526, and you’ll see the North Campus right ahead of you on the right just after the light.  Stay right and turn into the parking lot.  There’s lots of parking.

If you get onto I-526 from I-26, go to exit 212B – heading west to Savannah.  Watch for exit #15 on the right.   After crossing Dorchester Road, stay to the right and go to the next light at Paramount Drive. Turn right onto Paramount Drive and then immediately right again into the parking lot of the College of Charleston North Campus Facility. There’s lots of parking.
